NEWS UPDATES:

Come on, ewe!

First-year 4-H member Shayla Adamson has her hands full while showing her lamb at the Blaine County 4-H Market Animal Sale Saturday in Carey. The event was held during the annual Blaine County Fair. Ultimately, Adamson prevailed and got the best of all possible outcomes. The 117-pound lamb sold for $13 per pound, bringing the total sale price to $1,521. The buyer, Ketchum resident Jim Cimino, then gave the critter back to Adamson. Photo by Willy Cook
