Baldy hosts Junior 2 Olympics

Sun Valley's Tristan Brown, 17, gathers speed Wednesday on Baldy's Greyhawk ski run en route to 16th place in the men's downhill?first event of the 2006 Chevrolet Alpine Junior 2 Olympics (ages 15-16) hosted by the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation at Sun Valley Resort. It was Brown's best International Ski Federation (FIS) result of the 2005-2006 season. A total of 108 of the country's best J2 juniors took part in the downhill races won by two Rowmark Ski Academy (Utah) 16-year-olds, Andrew Phillips and Jennifer VanWagner.
