NEWS UPDATES:

Bald Mountain Cloaked in Its Winter Mantle

Amid a mixture of natural and manmade snow, kids, adults and dogs invaded Bald Mountain over the weekend to play in the outdoors. Kids built rails, jumps and other structures, inviting falls and tumbles, as their older counterparts carved beautiful turns in the pristine snow. But, in the end, a good old-fashioned snowball fight bridged the generation gap. Lift service on Baldy starts Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24. Photo by Willy Cook
