A ?Welcome Home? banner was unfurled at Friedman Memorial Airport Wednesday as 1993 Wood River High School graduate Lt. Ryan Frieder, a Navy doctor serving in Iraq with the 3rd Battalion of the 8th Marine Regiment, returned to the Wood River Valley during a one-month leave from duty. At the airport, he was greeted by Sheila Summers, right, a family friend. Lt. Frieder deployed to Iraq last winter.
