Thousands Line Up for Dalai Lama Tickets In line Saturday morning to obtain tickets for the Dalai Lama?s September visit to the Wood River Valley, Alex and Ron Taylor of Hailey move along with determination to the ticket tables. Beginning sometime around 3 a.m., the passionate, the curious and the hopeful began gathering in Ketchum and Hailey to receive the free tickets to attend His Holliness? ?Healing Address? scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 11, at the Wood River High School football stadium in Hailey. People came from throughout Idaho and surrounding states and all of the 10,000 tickets were distributed by 11 a.m., with hundreds of people turned away in disappointment when the tickets ran out.
