Vote for Vicki Heuett’s experience

Vicki “Dick” Heuett has been the Blaine County treasurer for 21 years. Before that she worked in the Blaine County Treasurer’s Office for 20 years. She knows the job and has a stellar record of leadership and integrity. Blaine County is in good hands.
The Blaine County native, Heuett, has a strong record of achievement and service: she was the 2004 recipient of the Mills-Adler Award for Outstanding Elected Official; was president of District IV Elected Officials; served two years as president of the Idaho Association of County Treasures (IACT); presently, she’s chairman of IACT Education Committee; and is past member of numerous IACT committees including, budget, Mills-Adler, research, state tax software, and more.
Heuett is responsible for preparing property tax forms, collecting taxes and distributing the funds to the various taxing districts, and invests funds to lessen the burden on property tax payers.
Blaine County needs Heuett’s skill, experience, and integrity. Heuett earned a certificate of general accounting from La Salle University in Chicago. She is certified as a finance executive by North Idaho College and the University of Missouri.
Heuett works to keep Blaine County on the forefront of technology so that the office runs more efficiently. In 2015, Blaine County taxpayers will have the option of electronic payment.
Heuett’s qualifications far exceed those of her young, inexperienced opponent. Please vote Nov. 4.
