District 26 deserves Dale Ewersen

Dale Ewersen is a thoughtful gentleman, a good listener and I’d like you to please consider voting for a man known for his integrity, honesty and sense of fair play. District 26 (which includes Blaine, Camas, Lincoln and Gooding counties) deserves Dale Ewersen in the Idaho Senate.
He’s served on the Bellevue City Council and was also elected mayor in Bellevue. Ewersen has made it a habit to serve his community. Currently, he serves on the boards of the Hailey Chamber of Commerce, the Blaine County Senior Center and the Kiwanis Club.
He co-owns the Splash and Dash car wash and convenience store in Bellevue and owns a business selling life insurance and annuities. He also ran a hay bailing operation for several years.
Ewersen, a Blaine County resident for 41 years, supports personal responsibility, private enterprise and low taxes because free markets create the greatest opportunities for economic growth and thus jobs in Idaho.
Ewersen is skeptical of federal government’s promise to fund the Medicaid expansion in Idaho. He’ll look for practical and affordable solutions for businesses and individuals to purchase medical insurance and make sure the expansion is affordable for Idaho’s taxpayers.
Ewersen feels now is the time to aggressively protect Idaho’s water from out-of-state interests. He advocates an Idaho water defense fund and challenges the Environmental Protection Agency’s proposed definition of water under the Clean Air Act. The EPA’s new rule will kill many jobs, especially jobs in agriculture, according to Ewersen.
Ewersen’s business experience, his commitment to public service, combined with his integrity, honesty and desire to help his constituents navigate Idaho government agencies, make Ewersen the best candidate for Idaho Senate.
