Re-elect Schoen for proactive leadership

Larry Schoen has been an excellent county commissioner. He has led on many important county issues—water and wildlife protection, land use, affordable housing, energy, wildfire planning and economic development.
Recently, the County Commission agreed to collaborate with numerous local partners to fund a Wood River Climate Adaptation Plan. The plan would compile and analyze data from the Big and Little Wood River drainages south to state Highway 75, including data on water availability and fire activity. This is the type of proactive leadership that we are lucky to have with a commissioner like Larry Schoen.
A Blaine County commissioner has many responsibilities. Randy Patterson has been in charge of a city that provides few public services and has little experience dealing with  complex county issues. The choice is clear. Let’s keep a skilled and experienced problem solver on the county commission.
Please join me in voting for Larry Schoen.
