On Wednesday, Oct. 22, Blaine County and state Legislature candidates will face the public at the Pizza and Politics forum at the Wood River High School Distance Learning Laboratory at 6:30 p.m.
The following candidates are expected to attend:

  •     Challenger Dale Ewersen, a Republican, and incumbent Michelle Stennett, a Democrat, for District 26 Senate seat.
  •     Challenger Richard Fosbury, a Democrat, and incumbent Steve Miller, a Republican, for District 26 state representative Seat A.
  •     Challenger Don Hudson, a Republican, and Donna Pence, a Democrat, for state representative Seat B.
  •     Challenger Randy Patterson, a Republican, and incumbent Larry Schoen, a Democrat, for the Blaine County Commission.l    Challenger John David Davidson, a Democrat, and incumbent Vicki Heuett, a Republican, for Blaine County Treasurer.

Pizza and Politics provides an opportunity for the public and local media to learn about candidates’ political platforms and question them about their plans if chosen for public office.     The event is organized and sponsored by the Idaho Mountain Express.
The Express will buy the pizza, but the public needs to bring their questions. Press and public attending should take note that questions cannot specifically address one candidate but must be answerable by all candidates. The event will last a maximum of 90 minutes..
