Champion sheepdogs to strut their stuff

Spectators can watch the incredible skills of 50 of the best sheepherding dogs from around the West on Saturday, Oct. 11, and Sunday, Oct. 12, during the Championship Sheepdog Trials, from dawn until dusk at Quigley Canyon field, just east of Hailey (take Fox Acres Road and follow the signs). Admission is $3 each at the gate; children under 12 get in free. Dogs are welcome but must be on a leash at all times. For more information, go to www.trailingofthesheep.org.
