Ernest Hemingway was a man of sparse sentences. The Nobel Prize-winning author’s many admirers, however, will have more than a few words to say about him during the Ernest Hemingway Festival this week in Ketchum and Sun Valley, the author’s final home.
Hosted by The Community Library in Ketchum from today, Sept. 3, through Saturday, Sept. 6, the event will feature lectures, discussions, readings and “edutaining” activities including trips to local Hemingway haunts.
The festival’s theme is “Hemingway’s Cuba,” where he lived off and on from 1939-60.
Admission to the festival ($45, $30 for students), covers most events, with an extra cost for some optional activities.
