Storm dumps on valley

A motorcyclist rides through central Ketchum Thursday afternoon, after an intense thunderstorm dropped heavy rain and hail for about 30 minutes. The storm turned streets into virtual rivers and caused small floods throughout town, including one near the Ketchum Post Office. The Ketchum Ranger Station reported receiving 1.3 inches of precipitation during the localized storm. The station has received 3.38 inches of precipitation so far this month.
