A woman was transported with non-life-threatening injuries by Wood River Fire and Rescue ambulance to St Luke’s Wood River hospital following a single-vehicle rollover accident Monday afternoon near the intersection of Gannett Road and North Picabo Road, south of Bellevue.
The accident occurred at about 3 p.m. Information regarding the cause of the accident was not available from the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office by press deadline Tuesday.
The woman’s name, age and address were also not available.
Wood River Chief Bart Lassman said the vehicle was on its side when emergency responders arrived. He said initial reports stated that the woman was trapped in the vehicle. However, Lassman said she was apparently able to crawl from the vehicle by herself before emergency personnel arrived.
The Idaho Mountain Express was unable to confirm a report that the woman is from Montana.
