Elkhorn GC crowns Member-Member winners

July 30-31 golf scramble

     Elkhorn Golf Club staged its 2014 Member/Member golf tournament July 30-31 in the format of two-person scramble. Men played from the Gold/Silver tees and the women played from Copper tees.

     Sawtooth Flight first-gross winners were Jerry Mitchell and John Gunning. Placing first in net were Stan Joseph and Bob Safron, while Arlene Herich and Marcia Rankin were the second-net winners.

     Boulder Flight first-gross champions were Kaye Burnham and Marilyn Hoffman. Tying for first net were Beckie Biedebach and Sandy McCullough, along with Joel Klein and Nancy Klein.

     Closest-to-the-hole winners were, on the first day, Bob Safron and Marcia Rankin and, on the second day, Jim Greene and Arlene Herich.

     Longest drive winners were, on the first day, Jack Sholtis and Marcia Rankin and, on the second day, Jim Greene and Marcia Rankin.
