Rock the new rink in Hailey on Thursday

It’s the height of summer, but supporters of the Hailey Ice project at Wertheimer Park are full speed ahead on the new rink adjacent to the rodeo grounds and Hailey Skatepark.

They are inviting the public to “come see the house we are building.” That “house” is a new outdoor rink currently being built on the site.

A “Rockin’ The Rink” event is scheduled for the new rink site Thursday, July 31 at 6 p.m.

Sarah Benson of Hailey said, “We want people to come down and view all the progress at the rink. The rink guys from Arena will be there to answer any questions on the process.”

It will feature free burgers and hot dogs from Grumpy’s, plus free ice cream for kids from Yellow Belly. Playing live music will be Tylor Bushman and Friends from 6-8 p.m. and Paddywagon from 8-9:30 p.m.

There will be giveaways from Play Hard Give Back.

For details contact Sarah Benson at 720-3086 or sarah@solutcom.
