Bergdahl family deserves love and support

    I send this letter with nothing but love and support in my heart. The return of a POW is cause to celebrate, and I for one am doing just that. What an awful ordeal this must have been for your entire family and I am so thankful that Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl is back on home soil.
   I am truly sorry your family has received so much hate-filled rhetoric, but please know that not all, or even most, Americans feel that way. I applaud Mr. Bergdahl’s fatherly love in growing his beard out and learning Arabic. We should all be so lucky to have a father like that. I pray that in the near future life will seem normal again and the nightmare you all have suffered will seem like a distant memory.
   With the utmost love and support, I wish the Bergdahl family the very best. (And I wish the entire nation would do the same.)
