Idaho Ice Track results from USATF Championship


     The local Idaho Ice Track Club traveled to Mountain View High School in Meridian last weekend with qualifiers from Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and Utah.

     Liesl Gerlach (girls 9-10) came in 1st Place in the 1,500 and 800 meter run and came in 3rd in the 400 meter run. She also set personal records in all three races. Her 6:04.62 in the 1,500 is a new team record.

     Lauren Roberts (girls 11-12) came in 4th in the 400, 6th in the 200 with personal records in both. She also has a team record in the 200 with a time of 31.46.

     Dakota Hutton-King (girls 13-14) came in 4th in the 100 meter run with a time of 14.02, which is a personal record and team record. She also came in 6th in the 200.

     Kirsys Campbell (girls 13-14) came in 1st overall with the 3,000 meter run and 2nd in the 800.

     Jaren Bothwell (boys 13-14) came in 8th in the 100, 2nd in the long jump with a jump of 15-07.5, which is a personal and team record.

     Christian Bothwell (boys 13-14) came in 8th in the 1,500 with a time of 5:20.66, which is a personal record. He also came in 7th in the 800.

     Henry Raff (boys 15-16) came in 2nd in the 3,000 meter race with a time of 10:11.74, which is a personal and team record. He also came in 7th in the 1,500 with a time of 4:44.27, which is also a personal and team record. Raff also came in 8th in the 800 with a personal record of 2:24.45.
