A youthful turnout in Hailey Skate Competition

Packed park saw amazing feats on Summer Solstice

    The 3rd Annual Hailey Skate Competition was held on Saturday, June 21. A large crowd of spectators watched amazing tricks and was dominated by a youth movement on the concrete jungle.
    Jedson Waters, 12, came away with a 1st place finish in the Boys 11-12 age category and ultimately finished with the highest point total of the day with 34 points. Waters hit a back-flip 180 to capture the top spot.
    Wilder “Booie” Curtis, 14, had 32.5 points on the day while taking the Boys 13-14 age category.
    Both Wyatt Caccia, 18, and Brian Drussel, 22, both had 30.5 points. Caccia took the Boys 17-18 age category and Drussel took the Mens 19+ category. Full results below:
