Third fat tire race for Wood River Cup

Out Croy Creek Wednesday night


     Croy Creek trailhead west of Hailey was the site of the 13th annual Wood River Cup short track mountain bike races Wednesday night.

     Posting the fastest times were John Reuter, Liv Jensen and Mark Vandiver.

     The series returns to Old Cutters Park on the east side of Hailey on Wednesday, June 18. Then the final event in the five-race series will be back at Croy Creek trailhead June 25.

     Registration starts at 5 p.m. Wednesday with racing at 5:30 p.m. featuring Men’s Category 3, Junior Men 2/3 and Masters 45-plus Men. Youth plus women and other men’s classes take off after that.

     Here are top results from the third Wood River Cup Wednesday evening:

       Men A (Cat. 1/2): 1—John Reuter 52:06 (14 laps). 2—David Harrison 52:55. 3—Cameron Lloyd 53:14. 4—Adam Greene 53:40. 5—Brad Walker 54:11. 6—Dien Toussaint 55:06. 7—Gus Gibbs 55:25. 8—Sam Young 57:15.

       Others: -1 lap, Greg Bearce, Greg Randolph and Mark Vandiver. 2-laps: Matt Hall and Zac Lowrey. 3 laps:  Herberth Corrales.

       Women: 1—Liv Jensen 31:06 (7 laps). 2—Amy Drumm 31:48. 3—Kirsten Dehart 33:12. 4—Jane Petersen 33:54. 5—Anja Jensen 34:53. 6—Tori Canfield 34:56.

       Men’s Sport: 1—Mark Vandiver 25:24 (6 laps). 2—Joel Zellers 25:57.4. 3—Josh Glick 25:57.7. 4—Herberth Corrales 26:53. 5—Hank Dart 27:15. 6—Brian Kriesien 27:29. 7—John Kurtz 27:46. 8—Wesley Deklotz 27:55. 9—Jeff Lyon 29:02.
