William Jay Pierce


    William Jay Pierce, aka “Billy,” passed away on Sunday, May 11, at the age of 51 in Indio, Calif.
    Billy was born on Dec. 29, 1962, to Joseph William Pierce and Margaret “Marge” DeVore-Pierce in Hardin, Mont. He then moved with his family to Billings, Mont., where he graduated from Billings West High School.
    He then moved here to Ketchum, Idaho, where he met many of his closest friends. Billy had a passion for good times. He enjoyed mountain biking, fishing, hunting, playing pool and golf.  Everything Billy did, he did well. All who knew him will miss him.
    He is survived by his brother Tracy Krug, sister Karen Zuck, Ty and Karla Wastcoat (sister), Jack and Sharla Allen (sister), and eight nephews and nieces.
    He was predeceased in death by: Joseph William Pierce (father), Margaret “Marge” Krug (mother), George Krug (step-father), and his beloved dog Jewels.
    A celebration of life will be held at Jack and Sharla Allen’s house on June 21 from 2-4 p.m. at 607 Cottonwood, in Bellevue, Idaho. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wells Fargo Bank in Hailey, Idaho.
