Ceremonies set to honor nation’s fallen

As fighter planes fly overhead, soldiers pay tribute to their fallen brethren last year during the Hailey Memorial Day ceremony. Veterans, military officials and members of the public will again take part in Memorial Day ceremonies in the Wood River Valley on Monday, May 26. A ceremony in Hailey is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Hailey Cemetery. A ceremony in Ketchum is scheduled for 11 a.m. at the Ketchum Cemetery. Both events are free and open to the general public, and both will feature a flyover by a P-51 Mustang and a Curtiss P-40 fighter plane from the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa.
