Who goes there?

A pair of river otters stays alert as they hunt for fish in a northern Wood River Valley pond. A member of the weasel family, river otters can weigh up to 30 pounds. Some otters can stay underwater for as long as four minutes. They feed primarily on fish but also eat other aquatic species and occasionally small mammals.
