WRHS state track qualifiers, details


  • · Boys (3 boys in 5 events)

     Alexis Gonzalez (junior) 800m, 1600m, 3200m

     Taylor Douthit (junior) discus

     Kyle Mungal (junior) 400m

     Janel Passey (senior) 800m, 1600m, 3200m

     Mariah Stout (senior) 1600m, 3200m

     Kenya Schott (junior) 800m, 1600m, 3200m

     Sara Lichtenberg (sophomore) high jump, 400m

     Michelle Mason (freshman) 100m, 200m

 

State notes—Janel Passey has the second-best state qualifying times in the 800m and 1600m runs, behind Rainey Woodward, Sandpoint freshman in 800m, and Mikhaela Woodward, Sandpoint junior, in 1600m. Mariah Stout has the sixth-best state qualifying time in the 1600m.

State schedule at Dona Larsen Park near BSU, Boise

 

  • Friday, May 16:

Running events, mostly preliminaries, start at 3:30 p.m. The 3200m finals are the last event of the day. Field events at 10 a.m. and 12 noon (boys’ discus). Parade of Athletes at 3 p.m.

  • Saturday, May 17:

     4A girls high jump 9 a.m. Running finals begin at 1 p.m.

     General admission $5 per day
