A 38-year-old Hailey man was treated and released at St. Luke’s Wood River hospital after he crashed on a dirt bike Sunday afternoon at a motocross track west of Hailey near Croy Creek Road.
The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office reported Monday that Jason Edwin Conners suffered a leg injury in the accident. He was transported to the hospital by Wood River Fire & Rescue ambulance.
Sheriff Gene Ramsey said the accident occurred at about 3:35 p.m. when Conners, riding a 2009 Suzuki dirt bike, crashed while making a jump.
“It says he came down on the front wheel and went over the handle bars and struck his left leg,” said Ramsey, reading from the accident report.
The sheriff said Conners was “wearing full protective gear” at the time of the accident.
