County to review ARCH proposal

A public hearing will be held before the Blaine County Planning and Zoning Commission on Thursday, April 3, on an application by ARCH Community Housing Trust to build a 26-unit rental planned-unit development near state Highway 75 south of Ketchum. The Ketchum-based nonprofit organization hopes to build its price-restricted Quail Creek Townhomes development on about two acres of donated land adjacent to The Meadows trailer park. It would have eight one-bedroom units, eight two-bedroom units and 10 three-bedroom rental units. The elevation drawing, above, shows one of three proposed apartment buildings. The special meeting will be held at the old Blaine County Courthouse at 6:30 p.m.
