Kudos to St. Luke’s

We hear a lot these days about things that aren’t working well, but I would like to share an experience where things worked very well at St. Luke’s hospital in Ketchum.
I had symptoms indicating I might have a blood clot in my leg. When I couldn’t see my local general practitioner, I went directly to St. Luke’s Emergency Room. The registration, nursing staff, volunteers, technical staff and doctors were all professional, courteous, and informative throughout the whole process.
The entire process from “checking in” at about 2:30 on Friday until about 5:30 p.m. with, thankfully, a quite clean bill of health, was excellent. We were kept informed all along about what was happening, why it was being done, and how long it would take.
We, as part time residents of Sun Valley, are very appreciative for the quality of health care we receive here in the Wood River Valley.
