Jose Gil Herrera

    Jose Gil Herrera, 74, of Bellevue, Idaho, passed away Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014.
     He was born Nov. 4, 1940, in Coeneo (Cobrero), Michoacan, Mexico, to Maria de Jesus Juarez and Francisco Herrera. He was married to Audelia Herrera.
    Jose was passionate about gardening and could be seen riding his tricycle throughout the valley. He loved traveling to his home country of Mexico, but his heart belonged in Idaho.
    Jose was an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Hailey, Idaho.
    Jose is survived by nine children: Angelina (Chicago), Francisco (Mexico), Lucia (Mexico), Elida, Rosa, Josefina (Mexico), Rodrigo, Humberto and Pier; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
    Mass will be held at noon Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, followed by the burial at the Hailey Cemetery.
