Ian Tyler Brooks

Ian Tyler Brooks passed on Dec. 26, 2013, in his home in Arizona. He was on active duty in the Arizona National Guard. He returned from his last deployment in April of 2013. He is survived by his sister Crystal and his father Bruce.
There will be a wake at the National Guard Armory in Hailey on Saturday, Feb. 15, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with music, food, friends and stories of Ian’s life from his friends. An Idaho National Guard Honor Guard will present honors at 3:30 p.m.
A memorial fund has been set up in Ian’s name through Higher Ground Sun Valley to help future service personnel return to civilian life. My son would like that. Donations to Higher Ground can be made at the wake or contact Higher Ground Sun Valley at (208)726-9298 for further information.
Ian was born in this valley. He went through Hemingway, middle school and Wood River High School, class of 2006. He is home again after two deployments and five years of service to our country.
Come celebrate his life and support Higher Ground.
