Lacrosse meeting set for Jan. 28

In Hailey, for spring program

Organizers of the Wood River Warriors Lacrosse Club program have planned an organizational meeting for Tuesday, Jan. 28 in Hailey to outline plans for the spring season.

The player/parent meeting is set for Jan. 28 at 5:30 p.m. in Room 211 of the Community Campus in Hailey. The spring season begins in mid-March and continues into June.

In a press release, Warriors organizers stated, “We are entering our 11th season this spring. We are a volunteer organization and are looking for people interested in getting involved with the program.

“There are about 45 students in grades 7-12 in the program. Last year, there were high school and U-15 teams. This year we need adults interested in coaching and/or refereeing home games, especially for the younger players elementary level and up. Training will be provided.”
