Make it, and they will come

Skiers turn their way down the top of the College ski run Sunday on Bald Mountain. Sun Valley Resort’s combined man-made and natural snow levels have been standing up well to the big holiday crowds, said Sun Valley spokesman Jack Sibbach. “We are very proud of the product that the mountain department has provided for our guests, as their experience is the most important thing that we do,” Sibbach said. Although the resort does not release detailed skier numbers, Sibbach said they have been good over the holidays. “Our hotel occupancy between Christmas and New Year’s has been about the same as last year’s.” The snow base at the summit of Bald Mountain is 19 inches.
