Dollar 10k Trail Run is Saturday

In Sun Valley

The fourth annual Dollar Mountain 10-kilometer (6.2 mile) Trail Run is set for Saturday, June 22 starting and finishing at the Community School quad in Sun Valley.
Race organizer Brad Mitchell said, “The baddest 10k mountain trail run” around will begin Saturday at 8 a.m. He added, “For this year, we are going old school, nothing but good hard running. We will provide bottles and Gatorade at the start; but nothing will be available on course.”
Online race registration is open through June 20 at Race day registration and bib pick up is available at the start from 7-7:45 a.m. Saturday. Entry is $20 per person. All proceeds support Wood River YMCA programming.
Questions can be directed to Brad Mitchell at or 928-6703.
Last June, 51 runners led by Williams College sophomore Will Wicherski (course record 47:57) and XTerra world champion trail runner Morgan Arritola (51:03) enjoyed perfect racing conditions and braved the challenging 6.2-mile course.
