Cheryl Ann (Duffy) Fife

On Saturday, June 15, 2013, at the age of 54, Cheryl lost her battle with pancreatic cancer in Ogden, Utah.
Cheryl was born in Denver, Colo., on May 14, 1959, to Donald Lee Feugate Sr. and Marjorie Iniz (Downey) Clark. As a child, her family moved from Denver to the Grand Junction area, where she graduated from high school in the Palisade, Colo., class of 1977. She married Michael Leo Duffy in September of 1978 and they lived in Carlin, Nev., prior to Michael’s death in 1989. At that time, Cheryl returned with her three boys to Palisade, Colo., and in 1992 moved to Bellevue, Idaho. There, she met and married her soulmate Barney Fife in June of 2003. A few years later, they began their adventure of traveling the nation together with their dogs. Cheryl was a master of all traits, could learn, accomplish and master anything she set her mind to, whether it be construction, computer programming, caregiving or baking.
Cheryl is preceded in death by her mother, Marjorie Clark, and stepfather Larry Clark. She is survived by husband Barney Fife; children Jeremiah Duffy (Filer), Daniel Duffy (Boise), Paul Duffy (Ketchum), Morgan Fife (Ellis), and Walker Fife (Declo); grandchildren Trinity Duffy, Braelyn Duffy, Braxton Duffy, Logan Duffy, Brennan Duffy and Athena Fife; father Donald Feugate and stepmother Arlyn Feugate; sister Tara Sloan (Ray) and brother Donald Feugate Jr.; nephew Aaron Sloan (Kai); and nieces Brandie Damien (Derek), Bobbie Lucero (Joe) and Brittany Feugate.
At Cheryl’s request, there will be a small family gathering, with location and time to be decided. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Cheryl’s memory to Pancreatic Cancer Network, www.Pancan.org or call 877-272-6226.
“Don’t remember me for the pain near the end, but remember me as you would as we stepped together while we shared in each others’ lives. Not just me but the “US” that we were.”  (Unknown)
