Impressed by artistic quality of MASSV

I am writing on behalf of support of this year’s MASSV festival.
I was deeply impressed and moved by the artistic quality of the event. The musicians were first class that I saw, the laser shows were off the charts, the creativity displayed by the attendees with acrobatics, art cars, costumes, fire spinning, and hula-hoop dancing were greatly entertaining.
Really, I applaud the organizers for taking on such a huge event and helping our community reach out to a young crowd from around the Pacific Northwest. As a middle-aged woman, I found it amusing and somewhat comforting to actually see kids I knew at the event. We all celebrated and had fun together. It was, indeed, a musical carnival of sorts!
I do understand that the noise level disturbed a number of residents within the vicinity of River Run. I know that the organizers are aware of this as well, and will change it for the following years. Also, some individuals always spoil the party by not acting in appropriate manners. However, the majority of the 3000 attendees were there to celebrate, enjoy, and have fun.  There is not much that is wrong with that.
Bravo MASSV! And good luck with future years
