MASSV was a fantastic event for all

By PAUL LLOYD

It was recently rumored to me that MASSV may not be returning next year. And I must say that this comes as quite a shock to me.
I was at MASSV this year, as well as last year. Additionally, I have spent a better part of 20 years attending these sorts of events. And I must say that MASSV is now my favorite. Ketchum is a lovely city that makes for a beautiful backdrop to the event. The crowd was a wonderful mixture of people from all different walks of life. Everyone I encountered was kind and courteous. Staff and security seemed vigilant in making sure everyone had a great and safe time.
The acts were amazing! I particularly enjoyed Minnesota, Mimosa, Kill Paris, and Grammatik. Their music, coupled with the lights, lasers and amazing sound system made me groove like I was a kid again. I sincerely hope that the rumors of there not being another MASSV aren’t true. It’s a fantastic event and I look forward to attending it with my daughter for many years to come.
