James M. Riley, 71, a resident of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2013, at the Lincoln County Care Center in Shoshone.
Riley was born March 12, 1942. He was a surfer, an artist with drywall compound, the neighborhood activities director, and the coolest bus driver around. Friends and strangers alike could count on him for a good story, a cheeky song and a drink. He was the funniest, most subversive person you ever met. He was an instigator, a black sheep and a pain in the ass. He was truly one-of-a-kind.
Parkinson’s disease took him from us, and cancer ended his life. He was always the brightest light in the room, and we were lucky to be illuminated by him.
No public services are planned.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Demaray Funeral Service, Shoshone Chapel.
