Public invited to Air Barn open house Sunday

At Sagewillow Farms

The Sun Valley Ski Educa-tion Foundation reported Tuesday on its Web site that the SVSEF will host an open house at the Air Barn at Sage-willow Farm Sunday, Nov. 10 from 4-6 p.m.
The event is open to the pub-lic.
SVSEF Freestyle and Snow-board program director Andy Ware said, “It’s a chance for people to see how much we’ve accomplished in under two years.
“We started with two tram-polines and now we have four. We have six fit walls, a slack line, agility center, foam pit, and halfpipe. We have more equipment for our athletes to progress in skill and strength.”
Athletes will demonstrate their skills to parents during Sunday’s open house. Ware said that anywhere from 60-80 SVSEF athletes utilize the Air Barn in a given week.
“The Air Barn is going gangbusters four days a week. We have almost 40 kids at a time,” Ware told SVSEF com-munications director Jody Zarkos. “And it is open for any athlete in the SVSEF. We are excited for people to see what has been invested and what more can be done.”
The Air Barn is located in the middle of the Sagewillow Farm Sports Complex at 100 Arrowleaf Drive in Elkhorn.
