Had a great time at MASSV

I decided to bring my family up to Sun Valley for the Fourth of July weekend and wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful trip. We attended the Fourth of July parade in Hailey, the MASSV music festival in Sun Valley, and stayed a couple of extra days to go fishing and shopping.
It is wonderful to see a region that is so diverse in its range of offerings. Where else can a family enjoy the cool mornings fishing in a mountain stream and then later find themselves dancing with lasers and art under the stars? The people and organizations who make all of this possible, from environmentalists to event planners, should be thanked for creating so many different opportunities in Sun Valley.
For those that were not able to make the music festival, I must comment that it was a spectacular location and I am so grateful that landowners, promoters, and government officials were all able to come together to make it happen. The festival is only in its second year, and there were some issues with people playing music late at night and not picking up their trash, but nothing that can’t be overcome in the future as the event matures. Again, thanks for having my family for the long weekend. We are looking forward to returning next year to enjoy the MASSV festival and your beautiful mountain community.
