A 48-year-old Mountain Home man was transported to St. Luke’s Wood River hospital after he crashed a motorcycle Saturday afternoon on state Highway 75 near Galena Summit.
The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office identified the man as Gordon White.
Sheriff Gene Ramsey said the accident occurred at about 12:30 p.m. while White was northbound on a 2013 Suzuki motorcycle.
“He failed to negotiate a curve and he swung too wide and dumped it,” Ramsey said.
The sheriff said White was initially taken to Smiley Creek by private vehicle. He was transported from there to the hospital by Ketchum Fire Department ambulance.
Ramsey said White was wearing a helmet but suffered a “clavicle fracture” and was later released from the hospital.
