Ron Brian Eliggi

Ron Brian Eliggi passed away from this earth on July 13, 2013, at the age of 56.
He was born Dec. 5, 1956, the son of Armand Eliggi and Harriet Eliggi. He grew up in Cloverdale, Calif., with his  beloved sister, Lanor. They have many wonderful memories of time spent at the family cabin at Lake Pillsbury, Calif.
He was a graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in anthropology. Ron was well known for his brilliant humor, intelligence and charming smile. The last two and a half years of his life, he lived in Ketchum, experiencing the tranquil beauty of the Wood River Valley. He loved skiing (participating in the Master’s Program), hiking, music, cooking and was often seen in the company of his beloved friend Jeannie Bell and her dog Z.
Ron is survived by his sister Lanor, whom he cherished, and her husband Ken Lake, as well as many friends and family in Idaho, California and elsewhere. He is loved by his former wives Jeanne Title of California and Donna Katz of Texas.
Ron is also missed every moment and a gathering to celebrate his life will be held at 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Forest Service Park in Ketchum, Idaho. Bring your loving heart, a chair and a dish to share.
In lieu of flowers, send a memorial donation to the Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley. Friends are invited to share a memory, photo or condolence and light a candle at www.woodriverchapel.com.
