Robert Dave Black

Bob Black passed away quietly at St. Luke’s hospital in Twin Falls on Sunday, July 21, after a sudden illness two weeks ago. Bob will be missed by friends and family. He had friends all over the country, as he had many ski school students.
Bob was born July 11, 1939, in Ketchum, Idaho, having gone to school there as well. He was on the Sun Valley Ski School from 1959 to 1999. He had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting and gardening. He loved this area so much that he said he never would leave and didn’t.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Helen, of 50-plus years; his son Keith; his daughter, Cara and family members in Jerome; John and Madeline Black (his brother); Neva Cox Jerome (his sister); and many nephews and cousins. He will be missed and we leave him in the hands of angels and his family in Heaven.
A private, family service will be held at a later date.
