Former mayors for Nina Jonas

As two former mayors of Ketchum, and having resided here for many years, we believe that it is time for a change in Ketchum politics.
We acknowledge that our time has passed and that a new level of leadership is required. If Ketchum is to be a vibrant community, it will require the vision of young leadership to assure that there will be a livelihood for both the youth that have grown up here, and those that are attracted to our mountain lifestyle.
Nina Jonas knows the realities of operating a business in Ketchum. As a successful restaurant owner, she is well aware of our tourist economy, and the practical aspects of managing her employees, paying rent, taxes, and the associated costs of operating a business in Ketchum. She has served four years on the City Council and has always been a respectful voice, both to her fellow council members and the public at large. Her education at Smith College and the London School of Economics, as well as her experience as business owner, have given her the requisite tools to manage a budget, and city staff.
The two of us have not always agreed with one another, but our support for Nina Jonas as the next mayor of Ketchum is unified with our wholehearted support. Qualifications alone are not enough, as we all look at the character and integrity of every candidate for office, and Nina’s are impeccable and represent the highest standards. We ask you to join us in voting for Nina Jonas for mayor on Nov. 5, for a better Ketchum and a brighter future.
