Ice show skaters making a splash on the tube

Bommentre, Navarro and Dear

By ROBIN SIAS

Three show skaters from Sun Valley on Ice are bringing both the judges and audience to their feet on the hit television show America’s Got Talent.
With their act, Aerial Ice, the dance team of Kim Navarro and Brent Bommentre and core skater Joel Dear, along with three castmates, made the cut in Los Angeles, sailed through the second round of auditions in Las Vegas and are now heading to New York’s Radio City Music Hall as one of the final 60 acts in the competition where contestants vie for a cool $1 million prize.
Aerial Ice is a dynamic program combining ice skating on synthetic ice with eye-popping aerial choreography performed on “silks” and other apparatus high above the stage.
Log onto the America’s Got Talent website and search Aerial Ice for a glimpse of this high-flying, high adrenaline act and catch the program Tuesday and Wednesday nights on NBC.
