Crosstoberfest cyclists make tracks at Old Cutters

Fine weather for cyclocross heats

     Hailey’s Old Cutters Park was the setting, and magnificent Indian Summer weather the background for the 10th annual Idaho Crosstoberfest cyclocross races Friday and Saturday, Oct. 18-19 in Hailey.

     The two-day cycling event based out of Powerhouse Pub and Bike Studio included a craft beer festival and cycling results provided by webscorer.com.

     Powerhouse’s Billy Olson, a former pro road bike racer, said about the grass-roots bike competition, “Beautiful day of bikes and beer with friends.”

     The main events occurred Saturday and here are results:

     Men Cat. 1/2/3 and 35-plus: 1—Thomas Bender 1.00:01 (1st 1/2). 2—Steve Price 1.00:06 (1st 35-plus). 3—Cameron Lloyd 1.00:10. 4—Thomas Cooke 1.00:22. 5—John Reuter 1.01:25. 6—Justin Healy 1.01:47. 7—Tate Litchfield 1.01:48 (1st Cat. 3). 8—Adam Schwind 1.02:49. 9—Darren Lightfield 1.03:08. 10—Zeb Stoebel-Haft 1.03:28.

     11—Tony Church 1.04:00. 12—Adam Green 1.04:38. 13—Joe Fieder 1.04:58. 14—Greg Bearce 1.05:14.

     Other cyclists were Brian Rees, Nikos Sawyer, Jason Potter, Matt McNeal, Mark Lovlien, Andrew Gendler, Sean Stephens, Cory Smith, Justin Harvey, Greg Miranda, Pat Schott and Herberth Corrales.

     Women Cat. 1/2/3/4: 1—Jenna Greaser 39:16. 2—Mallory Burda 44:00. 3—Brett Stevenson 44:49.

     Other cyclists were Brenda Moczygemba, Kirsten DeHart, Amy Ambrosier, Michelle Purcell, Audrey Coon, Desiree Hepworth, Deanna Halford, Jessica Bender, Bethany Hendrickson, Erin O’Neil and Jana Delong.
