All-Conference teams named for track and field

And top state performers

     Top track and field athletes in all classifications from the south-central Idaho 4th District including Blaine and Camas counties have been announced.

     Earning All-Conference for placing in the top six judged on finishing times or marks at 2013 state-qualifying district meets were the following athletes, by school and by event:

     · From Wood River High School: Ian Keys 100-meter dash (10.80 seconds) and 200m (22.07); Haley Montgomery 800m run (2:27.24) and 3200m (12:16.00); Kenya Schott 800m run (2:31.14); Janel Passey 1600m run (5:42.97); Chase England 1600m run (4:45.40) and 3200m (10:29.46); Alexis Gonzalez 1600m run (4:52.40) and 3200m (10:32.97); Sara Lichtenberg high jump (5-0);

     · From CareyHigh School: Jaide Parke 3200m run (12:25.60).

     · From the CommunitySchool: Sydney Hagenbuch 400m dash (1:02.80).

     · From CamasCountyHigh School: Stephanie Moore long jump (16-6); Issac Simon high jump (6-0); and Jordan Robles discus (147-11).

     Making All-State from the district based on placing in the top six at the May 17-18 meets:

     · First places—Ian Keys (WR) 100m (10.85) and 200m (22.07); and Jaide Parke (C) 3200m (11:52.77).

     · Second places—Issac Simon (CC) high jump (5-8); and Stephanie Moore (CC) long jump (16-7.25).

     · Third place—Sara Lichtenberg (WR) high jump (5-0).

     · Fourth places—Jaide Parke (C) 1600m (5:37.32); Jordan Robles (CC) discus (141-9); and Taylor Gorringe (CC) discus (110-4).

     · Fifth place—Jaide Parke (C) 800m (2:32.31).

     · Sixth places—Sydney Hagenbuch (CS) 400m (1:02.80); Haley Montgomery (WR) 800m (2:26.83) and 3200m (11:53.45).
