Kathy Baker has the right credentials

I have known Kathy for the past 11 years and I know that Kathy deeply cares about our public education school system. Kathy has three boys attending elementary school in Hailey. She has been actively involved since her oldest son (now grade 5) started school.
Kathy’s CV is quite extensive and impressive for this position. She has a high level of integrity, is a good listener, and engages in school opportunities for community members at every level. Kathy serves on the Hailey PTA as co-president, and has served on numerous committees from choosing our science text book, to designing and implementing the Hailey Science Fair, which has been incredibly exciting, effective, and has enjoyed a high student and parent participation level, and she was actively involved in the schools district’s adoption of the new math curriculum.
I have never known anyone else to be as actively involved as Kathy and I trust she will do a great job representing parents on our school board.  Kathy is deeply committed to improving Blaine County School District with a goal of attaining gold standard for our schools so that every child has the potential to thrive and meet their highest potential.
For Kathy, the needs of the students come first. She believes in fiscal responsibility serving children first with our limited funds. She is committed to school board transparency in planning and adopting policies.  Kathy gets my endorsement.
