Wood River Trail is most valuable asset

    Blaine County is not only our permanent home, it is also the recreational destination for thousands of visitors and second-home owners. Our local economy is uniquely dependent on visitors and second-home owners and it is our privilege as locals to ensure that these visitors enjoy their experience when they get here and that they want to return.
   One of the most important and most used resources for both locals and visitors is the Wood River Trail System. The basic infrastructure of the system has worn out and needs to be fixed. On May 21, 2013, the voters of Blaine County have the opportunity to vote to bring the trail system back to its decades-long status as our most valuable asset. Please vote “In Favor Of” on the ballot question and help to preserve our valley’s economy and desirability for the next 30 years.
