Re-elect Guthrie to school board

Re-elect Steve Guthrie for Zone 2 trustee to continue moving Blaine County School District forward.  Effective leaders are needed to serve on the school board and Steve Guthrie has a proven record and unique perspective to critical issues facing our school district.
He has a strong commitment to public education and the highest standards of achievement; the ability to work with diverse groups, including other board members, teachers, and community organizations; respect for differing points of view; a desire to advance accountability and achieve positive academic results; and a vested interest in the direction of our school community as the parent of students in the district.
Since elected to the board four years ago, Guthrie has served as chairman the past two years. He has seen to it that the district prepares students for college, career and citizenship, supports broad programming for all students, oversees a highly qualified staff, well-maintained facilities, state-of-the-art technology, small class sizes, and robust curricula.
Join me in putting your trust in Steve Guthrie to continue as Zone 2 school board trustee. Vote at Community Campus, Bellevue Elementary, or Silver Creek Convenience Store (depending on your precinct) between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 21. Early voting is available at the Old County Courthouse (206 First Ave. South, Hailey) from now through May 17.
