The time is coming to register the kids

School District announces kindergarten, DI and preschool schedule

The Blaine County School District has announced that Wednesday, April 3, is the day to register youngsters for all-day kindergarten, Dual Immersion kindergarten and half-day preschool.

For Bellevue, Hailey and Woodside elementary schools, registration will be conducted from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Community Campus on Fox Acres Road in Hailey.

Registration for Hemingway Elementary School in Ketchum will be held at the school from 8:30 a.m. until noon and from 1-3:30 p.m.

Carey School registration will be held at the school from 1-3 p.m.

Parents or guardians are reminded that they’ll need to bring an original state-certified birth certificate, immunization records and documented proof of residency in Blaine County.

Proof of residency must be established by two current utility bills or a lease agreement indicating that utilities are paid through the lease.

In addition, parents or guardians must provide one of the following: either a valid driver’s license or state-issued identification card, a property tax bill, a current lease agreement or an Idaho tax return. All of these forms of identification must show a Blaine County address.

Additional information is available at the district website at or at 578-5000. The district office is located at 118 W. Bullion St. in Hailey
