Freeskiers are back from Park City

Junior National results


The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation Freestyle/Freeskiing program qualified 17 athletes for the  USSA Freestyle/Freesking Junior National Championships March 3-10 at  Park City, Utah. Top results included:

( Morgan Shaver led the way in single moguls making the finals and placing 13th. RJ Bracken was 35th, Zac Maricich-Siele 39th and Alysha Herich 45th. Bracken’s ninth place was best in dual moguls.

Next up, mogul skiers Shaver, Renee Shapiro, Maricich-Siele and Bracken join Gold Teamer Shane Cordeau at U.S. Nationals in California.

( In the Junior National Superpipe: Trevor Hattabaugh 16th, 8th in M-1; Eli Roberts 23rd, 4th in M-3 with Alvaro Jiraldo 29th; Will Griffith 33rd for a silver medal in the M-4 class, with River Kelly 34th, Tobias Verheijen 37th, Hayes Gilman 41st, Perry Boyle 42nd. For the girls, Parker Nance was 18th overall in the superpipe.

( In the Junior National slopestyle: Perry Boyle 33rd overall, Hayes Gilman 35th and River Kelly 41st. For the girls, Parker Nance captured a bronze medal in the W-3 class.
