Sofa Kings and Corduroy racers left at the top

On the Sun Valley Town Series


     The Sofa Kings and Corduroy is for Pants: PK’s are the only two teams remaining with 0.00 scores after Week No. 3 of the 22nd annual Sun Valley Town Series of alpine ski races.

     Sofa Kings are Lenny Joseph, Barrett Molter, Ted Tuma and Bob Buchanan. Corduroy: PK’s racers are Tyler Chandler, Charlotte Gourlay, Alex Jackson and Christy Luby.

     In third and fourth places of the 34 teams after Wednesday’s dual modified giant slalom racing on the Warm Springs side of Baldy are Idaho Bioscience 0.09 and Scott USA 0.15.

     Miles Fink-Debray of Arc Park once again recorded the best single-run time at 15.76 seconds followed by Robin Sarchett, also of Arc Park at 15.98. Rounding out the top 10:

     3—Nate Schwing (SVSEF) 16.23. 4—Hunter Storey (The Hos from Sturtos) 16.50. 5—Biche Rudigoz (Michel’s Christi) 16.67. 6—Tyler Chandler (Corduroy: PK’s) 16.83. 7—Wes Powell (Apple’s) 16.86. 8—Matt  Murphy (Ski Tek) 16.93. 9—Joe Atwood (Sturtos) 17.11. 10—Jim Grossman (Ski Tek) 17.12.

     Clocking the middle of the road “rabbit times” of 128 racers were Stu Hilleboe of Gravity 20.63 seconds and Randi DuBois of Greatful Shred 20.76.
